Alexander Tushinsky, CISSP, CISM, CCISO

Your Cybersecurity Consultant

Alex has spent the past thirty years working as a software developer, application architect, cybersecurity professional, and technical trainer.  Working across various industries, including consumer, financial, market research, and educational industries, Alex brings the knowledge, passion, and expertise he gained while working at organizations like PepsiCo, Intel, and Rutgers University, to your environment.

He is a lifelong learner and holds over 25 active IT and cyber security certifications.  He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others.  This allows him to build teams and mentor individuals to become better and more efficient at their roles.  Being a trainer also helps him communicate more effectively at all levels of an organization.  He has taught at Rutgers University, Bergen Community College, County College of Morris, College of Southern Nevada, and the University of Las Vegas and is currently an online author at Pluralsight.

His education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development and a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.  His cyber security certifications include the ISC2 CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), ISACA’s CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), EC-Council’s C|CISO (Certified Chief Information Security Officer), and C|EH (Certified Ethical Hacker).

Alex is a member of several cyber security groups, communities, and organizations, including a professional membership to ISACA, ISC2, Order of the Sword & Shield, and F.B.I’s cybercrime notification system known as InfraGard.  These organizations provide information on the latest threats and require continued education, keeping Alex’s skills sharp and modern.
